David Beamer, the father of 9/11 hero Todd Beamer, has urged Michigan voters to reject Democrat Abdul El-Sayed in the upcoming Senate election. Beamer, who witnessed his son’s heroic actions during the 2001 terrorist attacks, accused El-Sayed of being anti-American and aligned with foreign adversaries.

Father of 9/11 Hero Condemns El-Sayed’s Alleged Foreign Ties

Speaking alongside former President Donald Trump at a rally in Michigan, Beamer claimed El-Sayed was not an American and was instead endorsing foreign groups like the Muslim Brotherhood. He criticized El-Sayed for accepting their endorsements and money, asserting that his views aligned with those of the groups he claimed to oppose.

Beamer argued that El-Sayed’s rise as a candidate represented an internal threat to the United States. He emphasized that the enemy was not from abroad but was now among them, calling them the Democratic Socialists of America. He urged Michigan to show these groups that they could not win in the state.

Beamer Recites Son’s Famous Last Words

At the end of his speech, Beamer asked the audience to join him in quoting his son’s last words. “Are you guys ready?” he said, before leading the crowd in saying, “Let’s roll.” This reference to Todd Beamer’s final moments on United Airlines Flight 93, where he led a passenger revolt against hijackers, underscored the gravity of the situation.

Trump praised Beamer’s remarks, calling them heartfelt and expressing gratitude for his son’s service. “Your boy is looking down very proud of you both,” Trump said.

El-Sayed has denied any connections to the Muslim Brotherhood but has yet to comment on an open letter he penned urging the group to purge the media and police. When asked about the issue, El-Sayed refused to discuss it further, calling the question “beneath” his opponent.

El-Sayed’s Response to Allegations

During a recent debate, El-Sayed dismissed the allegations of ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, stating he had never been a member of the group. He criticized his Republican opponent, Mike Rogers, for bringing up the issue, calling it “beneath” him.

As the Senate race heats up, Beamer’s remarks have sparked renewed debate over the ideological divide in Michigan and the role of foreign influence in domestic politics.
