Unusual Flight Characteristics
The agents, stationed on a ridgeline during clear evening skies, observed a craft with a wingspan of 13 to 15 feet, a fuselage of 6 to 9 feet, and a vertical thickness of 1 to 2 feet. The object ascended vertically for approximately 10 seconds, maintaining a slow, controlled motion without any tilting, swaying, or wobbling. The entire ascent was silent, with no visible propulsion systems or structural features.
Following the vertical climb, the craft entered a stable hover for about 20 seconds, remaining motionless without any drift or oscillation. Infrared analysis revealed a uniformly thermal signature with no localized hot spots, engine heat, or exhaust plumes. The agents noted the absence of any heat shimmer, vapor trail, or particulate discharge, further emphasizing the object’s enigmatic nature.
Swift and Unpredictable Maneuvers
After the hover, the craft transitioned rapidly into high-speed horizontal flight, mimicking the agility of a military fighter jet. The maneuver occurred without observable acceleration or gradual pitching, as if the craft had instantaneously shifted from a stationary position to rapid movement. The object executed a fluid banking turn and a steep, terrain-conforming descent into a canyon, maintaining stability throughout the maneuver without wobbling or drifting.
The entire horizontal transition, banking, and descent lasted approximately two to three seconds before the craft disappeared behind intervening terrain. No wreckage, vegetation damage, or ground scarring was found the following morning during a ground survey of the canyon.
