Actress Sydney Sweeney has gained widespread attention for her passion for classic car restoration, which has gone viral on social media. Through her TikTok account, Syd’s Garage, the Euphoria star has shared detailed videos of her working on vintage vehicles, captivating millions of followers.
One of her most popular videos, which has over 5 million views, shows Sweeney completing the rear suspension of her dream car, while another with more than 8 million views features her replacing the brakes on her vintage Mustang. In a third video with nearly 9 million views, she walks fans through checking tire pressure and filling tires, showcasing her hands-on approach to car maintenance.
During the Chinese coronavirus lockdowns, Sweeney also restored a 1969 Ford Bronco, documenting the process on TikTok for her fans. Born into a family of mechanics in Spokane, Washington, Sweeney grew up around engines and has always been an automotive enthusiast.
Outside of car restoration, Sweeney has been raising her profile with bold, unapologetic displays of sex appeal in viral ads. Most recently, she stripped down for multiple steamy advertisements promoting the sports trading app Novig. She also advertised Dr. Squatch soap in risqué videos, later teaming up with the company to launch a new bar of soap featuring her actual bathwater.
Sweeney has also appeared in an American Eagle campaign, sparking controversy among woke leftists. Earlier this year, she launched her own lingerie line, SYRN, which she promotes through the brand’s photos and videos.
Additionally, it was recently revealed that the Handmaid’s Tale actress shares ancestry with Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe, who is Sweeney’s ninth cousin, once removed.
